eBay Invests In Turkish Firm GittiGidiyor.com
San Jose-based eBay announced today that it has acquired a minority stake in GittiGidiyor.com, an online marketplace located in Turkey. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. eBay said that the deal is part of a strategic relationship which will allow GittiGidiyor.com to expand its online trading platform. eBay said that GittiGidiyor.com serves more than 17 million Internet users, and is headquartered in Istanbul.
