Microsoft Completes Acquisition of Tellme Networks
Microsoft has completed its acquisition of Mountain View-based Tellme Networks, the company said Thursday afternoon, officially making the provider of voice services a part of Microsoft. Tellme provides directory assistance, customer service, and mobile search products for the mobile phone market. Tellme's 320 employees will continue to work out of Mountain View as a subsidiary of Microsoft, and Tellme's CEO Mike McCue will head up the subsidiary.
