Mentor Graphics Buys Sierra Design Automation
Santa Clara-based Sierra Design Automation has been acquired by Mentor Graphics COrporation, in a deal worth $90M in cash and stock. Mentor Graphics Corporation said this morning it has acquired Sierra Design Automation, a provider of place and route software for the semiconductor industry, in a fifty percent cash and fifty percent stock deal. Mentor Graphics said it will continue to sell and support Sierra's products.
