Yahoo! Acquires Rivals.com
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! said this evening that it has acquired Rivals.com, an online destination site for college and high school sports and recruiting information. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Yahoo said that the acquisition will significantly expand the firm's community offerings and publishing capabilities of its Yahoo! Sports property. Rivals.com operates more than 150 websites focused on college and high school sports.
