Ugobe Starts Pre-Orders For Pleo
Emeryville-based UGOBE, the developer of the lifelike robotic toys, said Thursday that it has opened online pre-orders for the company's Pleo products. UGOBE said that consumers will be able to pre-order the firm's product through its web site, along with Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart. UGOBE's product, Pleo, is a lifelife, robotic dinosaur which interacts with its owner. UGOBE also said that it has opened an online commonity for Pleo fans. The firm is backed by the Band of Angels and First Round Capital.
