LinkedIn Taps Yahoo For Marketing VP
Mountain View-based LinkedIn has tapped another new executive for its team, saying today that it has hired Patrick Crane as the company's Vice President of Marketing. Crane was most recently VP of Marketing for Yahoo!'s Network Division. Crane has also served at Vodafone U.S. The hire is the second major one for the firm this week, after it tapped ex-Tivo exec Steve Sordello as CFO. The firm is reportedly prepping for an IPO, perhaps next year.
