Yahoo Grabs Marketing Exec From NetApp
Sunnyvale-based search portal Yahoo! said Monday afternoon that the firm has named a new Chief Marketing Officer, Elisa Steele. According to Yahoo, Steele joins the firm from NetApp, where she was Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing. Steele reports to Yahoo! CEO Carol Bartz. Yahoo said that Steele will be responsible for Yahoo's brand, global marketing strategy, and marketing functions. Steele has also served at Sun Microsystems.
