Sunnyvale-based ZeroG Wireless, a developer of lower power RF integrated circuits, said Thursday that it has named a new CEO and added a VP of Engineering. ZeroG said that John D. Cummins has been named Chief Executive Officer, and Andrew N. Karanicolas, Ph.D., has been appointed VP of Engineering. Cummins joins from Agere/LUcnet Microelectronics, and Karanicolas joins from True Circuits. ZeroG Wireless is venture backed by Cisco Corp., Greylock Partners, and Morgenthaler Ventures.
