Avago Technologies Completes Acquisition of Infineon Unit
San Jose-based Avago Technologies said today that it has closed its acquisition of Infineon Technologies AG's Polymer Optical Fiber business unit. Terms of the deal, which was originally announced in April, were not disclosed. The Infineon unit is based in Regensburg, Germany, and develops transceivers and transmitters for the automotive, industrial drive control, and home broadband market.
