Healthline Gets $21M For Medical Search
San Francisco-based Healthline Networks, a provider of online health information services, said Monday that it has raised $21M in a Series B funding. The round came from GE/NBC Universal's Peacock Equity Fund, Aetna Ventures, LLC, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, U.S. News and World Report, VantagePoint Venture Partners and Reed Elsevier Ventures. The deal includes an agreement to provide search, navigation, and content services to NBC Universal's iVillage Total Health consumer health portal.
