BridgeWave Adds $7.8M
Santa Clara-based BridgeWave Communications, a provider of wireless Gigabit Ethernet hardware, said this morning that it has secured $7.8M in a Series 3 funding round. The round came from its existing investors, and also included SDL Ventures and Intel Capital. The firm said the funding will go towards expansion of sales, marketing, service, and manufacturing. Bridgewave develops Gigabit Ethernet radio targeted at backhaul wireless networks.
