Zend, IBM Partner On PHP Enhancements
Cupertino-based Zend Technologies, maker of the popular PHP language, and IBM said last night that the two have broadened their partnership. The two said they will provide deeper integration between Zend's products and IBM's DB2 database. The firms said that under the agreement, Zend's Core for IBM certified PHP solution will be enhanced to include new features specifically for IBM DB2 Express-C. The firms are targeting the combined solution towards development of rich, Web-based applications.
