Sunnyvale-based Telegent Systems said Tuesday that it has raised $30M in a third round of funding, from Northern Light Venture Capital and its existing investors. Telegent, which makes single-chip, CMOS semiconductors targeted at the mobile TV market, said that the funding will go to expand its product line and grow its international sales presence. The funding round brings the company's total raised to $50M. The firm also said that all of its current investors participated in the round. Feng Deng of Northern Light has joined the firm's board as part of the funding.
