Santa Clara-based SideStep.com said today that it has launched a new fare tracking tool, which allows visitors to its web sites to track flight price changes. The firm said that the new FareTracker tool allows users to monitor price, and track them via email notifications. The new feature is similar to features from competing travel sites Farecast and Yapta. Sidestep is venture backed by Trident Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, PAR Capital, Saints Capital and Leader Ventures, and has raised more than $30M in funding.
