DealBase.com Launches Travel Site
San Mateo-based startup DealBase.com said today that it has launched a new site focused on finding hotel deals. According to the firm, it will allow users to search and compare more than 10,000 hotel deals for travelers. The company was co-founded by Sam Shank, David Hehman, and Howard Love, which the firm says have previously been at SideStep, Expedia, and TravelPost.com. Shank was the founder of TravelPost.com, which he sold to Sidestep.
