NetBooks Lands $9M For Small Business Software
Rohnert Park-based NetBooks said today that it has closed on $6.9M in a Series A funding, for the firm's web-based business management software. The round came from CMEA Ventures and Integral Capital, along with others. The financing came alongside a $2M line of credit from Square 1 Bank. Netbooks is developing online software targeted at small business owners; the firm was founded and is headed by Ridgely Evers, who was behind Intuit's QuickBooks software. Among the firm's board are Tom Proulx, co-founder of Intuit.
