Menlo Park-based venture capital firm Venrock said today that it has added Steve Goldby as a Partner, and Ken Song as a Vice President at the firm. Venrock said that Golby will focus on energy and healthcare companies for the firm. Golby was most recently at Venrock-backed firm Symyx Technologies, and also served at MDL Information Systems; Song
has previously served at MIT Whitehead Institute, UCSF, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. Venrock was originally the venture arm of the Rockefeller family.
