Redwood Shores-based database giant Oracle said Tuesday evening that it has acquired a Southern California-based firm which provides automated risk and compliance management software for its application, LogicalApps. Financial terms were not disclosed. Oracle will make LogicalApps' real-time policy enforcement software part of its Governance, Risk and Compliance application suite. The deal is expected to close in November. Irvine-based LogicalApps is venture funded by Mission Ventures and Sequoia Capital.
