Agilent Buys Velocity11
Santa Clara-based Agilent Technologies said Wednesday that it has acquired Velocity11, a maker of automated liquid handling and laboratory robotics products for the life sciences market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Velocity11's products are used by life science firms for automating sample preparation. Velocity11 was started in 1999 as a spinoff of Incyte.
