MixerCast Gets $6M
San Mateo-based MixerCast said Tuesday that it has raised $6M in a round of funding. The round was led by Intel Capital, and also included ONSET Ventures and Velocity Interactive Group. mixerCast develops online social media marketing tools and services. The firm said it will use the funding to extend the capabilities of its widget platform. The firm had previously raised $2.60M from Velocity Interactive last May.
