ViVOtech Gets Funding From Citi
Santa Clara-based ViVOtech, which develops contactless payment systems, said Tuesday that it has received an equity investment from Citi. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. ViVOtech has previously received funding from Motorola, NCR, Miven Venture Partners, First Data, Alloy Ventures, DFJ Gotham, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and Nokia Growth partners. ViVOtech's contactless payment systems are based on near field communications (NFC) technology.
