Kyte, a San Francisco-based provider of mobile and online video content publishing services, announced Monday that it has concluded its second round of venture financing after securing some $21.1 million. Steamboat Ventures, The Walt Disney Company's venture capital arm, and Intellect Capital Ventures, a TeliaSonera venture fund initiative managed by Intellect Partners, completed the round, Kyte said. The company had previously announced the round's other investors, including several wireless firms (Telefónica, Nokia Growth Partners, Swisscom and DoCoMo Capital Inc.), Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Holtzbrinck Ventures, the investment arm of one of Europe's largest media conglomerates.
