Kyte Gets $15M Investment
San Francisco-based Kyte (aka Decentral.TV) said Thursday morning that it has raised $15M in a second round of funding. The round came from Telefonica, along with Nokia Growth Partners, DoCoMo capital,Swisscom, Holtzbrinck Ventures, and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Kyte said it would use the investment to further the development and distribution of its social communications paltform. Kyte allows users to share pictures and video from their mobile phones. Kyte has also previously received funding from Niklas Zennstrom's Atomico and Ron Conway.
