Google Earth Adds Browser Plugin
Mountain View-based Google said Wednesday that it has released a new browser plug-in which allows web publishers to embed Google Earth into their own web sites. Google said that the plug in will allow web developers to embed Google's 3D mapping software--which was previously only available via a software download--into web sites using JavaScript. The new plug-in also allows publishers using Google's Google Maps API to easily convert their existing maps to support Google Earth via a button.
