Baynote Launches Recommendations Software
Cupertino-based Baynote said this week that it has unveiled its new software for the recommendations and social search area. BayNote said that its product, which is available as software-as-a-service, allows businesses to deploy product and content recommendations via the web, email, and mobile. The firm, which is venture backed by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, JK&B Capital, and Steamboat Ventures, is targeting the ecommerce space with the tools, for generating leads, increasing engagement, cross-selling and up-selling software, and helping to improve the relevancy of on-site search.
