Sunnyvale-based
Bizzy, a local business recommendations website, said today that it has launched "check-outs", a twist on the popular "check-in" concept, allowing mobile users to rate businesses they have just visited. The website, which is owned by internet advertising firm ReachLocal, said it is looking to gather information about recommendations on things like restaurants, stores, and other local businesses, which will then go to help personalize recommendations for users. Bizzy offers up local business recommendations to users. The firm's "check-out" works on iPhone and Android phones.
