WhiteHat Security Rounds Up $7M In Fourth Funding
Santa Clara-based WhiteHat Security, a provider of web site security software, said today that it has rounded up $7M in its Series D round of funding. The round was led by Horizon Ventures, and included prior investors Altos Ventures, Garage Technology Ventures, and Startup Capital Ventures. WhiteHat Security's products are used to scan web servers for vulnerabilities and proper configuration. The firm said the funding will go towards new product development, and sales and marketing efforts.
