San Francisco-bsed Coverity said today that it has acquired Solidware technologies, a Colorado vendor of software readiness products. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Coverity develops code coverage products used by software developers to improve the quality of their C, C++, C#, and Java source code. The acquisition is the second for the firm this year; it had earlier acquired Codefast. Coverity is venture backed by Benchmark Capital and Foundation Capital.
