Altera Sues Zilog
San Jose--based Altera Corporation said today that it has filed a patent infringement suit against Zilog, Inc., which is also based in San Jose. According to Altera, it alleges that some of Zilog's newest products infringe on various, unspecified Altera patents. Altera said it is seeking monetary damages, an injunction, and attorney's fees in the suit. The lawsuit was filed in the Federal District Court of the Eastern District of Texas.
