IXYS Buys Zilog For $62.4M
Milpitas-based IXYS, a maker of power semiconductors, said today that it has purchased San Jose-based Zilog, in a deal worth $62.4M. According to IXYS, it will pay $3.5858 per share in cash for Zilog, a maker of embedded microcontrollers and systems-on-a-chip. IXYS said the acquisition would complement its product portfolio.
