EI Solutions Gets Win At The North Face
San Rafael-based EI Solutions, the solar systems integrator which is backed by Idealab, said today that the firm will design, build, and install a 1MW solar electricity system for outdoor clothing firm The North Face. According to EI Solutions, the solar power system will be installed at The North Face's West Coast distribution center, in Visalia, California. The system is being financed, and will be owned and operated by Recurrent Energy, which funds solar power projects and resells that solar power to companies. The project will use sun tracking systems and 5,445 Suntech photovoltaic panels. The North Face is a unit of VF Outdoor, Inc.
