Accel-KKR Raises $600M Fund
Private equity firm Accel-KKR said today that it has closed a $600M third fund, Accel-KKR Capital Partners II, LP. The firm said the fund was originally targeted at $450M, but was "significantly oversubscribed." The new fund brings the company's total assets under management to over $1B, the firm said. Accel-KKR said the new fund will be a growth-oriented, middlemarket technology fund. According to the firm, the new fund will target platform technology companies with revenues between $15 million and $150 million, differentiated products, competitive positioning, and a demonstrated track record of growth and cash flows.
