Milpitas-based Kineto Wireless, which develops fixed-mobile convergence software for the mobile communications market, said Tuesday that it has raised $15.5M. The round included a strategic investment from Motorola. Kineto Wireless said that existing investors Oak Investment Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures, Venrock, Seapoint Ventures and InterDigital also participated in the round. Kineto Wireless develops software for a number of wireless standards, including in the femtocell and 3GPP UMA/GAN areas.
