Kineto Wireless Gets $10M Round of Funding
Milpitas-based Kineto Wireless has received a $10M investment, the firm said today. The round was led by Interdigital Communications Corporation, which contributed $5M in the round, and also included prior investors Sutter Hill Ventures, Venrock Associates, 3i, Oak Investment Partners, SeaPoint Ventures, and Storm Ventures. Kineo Wireless is developing mobile technology used for Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA), a standard for fixed mobile convergence.
