Cobalt Biofuels Names CEO
Mountain View-based Cobalt Biofuels reported Wednesday that it has named Dr. Rick Wilson as CEO of the company. The firm, which just scored $25M in a funding from Pinnacle Ventures, Vantage Pont Venture Partners, the Malaysian Life Sciences Capital Fund, LSP, @Ventures, Burrill & Company, and Harris & Harris Group, is focused on next generation biofuels. The firm said that Wilson was most recently Vice President of British Petroleum’s Global Derivatives Chemicals business unit.
