DealBase.com Finds $1M
San Mateo-based DealBase.com said this morning that it has raised $1M in a Series A funding round. The round came from angel investors, including Russ Siegelman, Bob Zipp, and Josh Hannah. The firm operates a web site that shows hotel and travel package deals. Siegelman is an affiliate of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Zipp is a Managing Director at Amicus Capital, and Hannah is a General Partner at Matrix. None of those venture firms participated in the funding round.
