Mountain View-based open source development firm SourceForge said Thursday that it has named Scott L. Kauffman as President, CEO, and member of the firm's board of directors. Kauffman was most recently President and CEO of PopTok, and has also served at AdKnowledge, BlueLithium, Zinio, MusicNow, Coremetrics, eCoverage, and CompuServe. Kauffman replaces interim CEO Robert M. Neumeister, Jr., who also sits on the board of the firm. SourceForge operates an online community for open source software developers, including source code repositories and related tools.
