VMware Snags European GM From Google
Palo Alto-based virtualization software firm VMware said today that it has named Maurizio Carli as General Manager of the firm's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Carli joins the company from Google, where he was EMEA Managing Director for Google Enterprise. He has also served at Business Objects and IBM. VMware said that Carli will be responsible for sales, channels, services, and marketing for the firm in the region.
