Pramati Snags WaveMaker From VMWare
San Francisco-based Pramati, which provides software engineering services and incubation services, said today that it has acquired certain assets of WaveMaker from VMware. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. WaveMaker was a developer of a rapid, application development and prototyping software for Java applications. WaveMaker had been acquired by VMware in March of 2011. WaveMaker's software uses a "drag-and-drop" interface to make it easier to build Java applications.
