Pixim Gains $13M
Mountain View-based Pixim, which develops image sensors and processors, said Wednesday that it has raised $13M in an additional venture capital round. The round came from Mayfield Fund, Ridgewood Capital, and Tallwood Venture Capital, all existing investors in the firm. Pixim said the funding will go toward accelerating growth at the firm. Pixim's technology is being applied to make security cameras which are better at detecting low light images, and to reduce glare and noise.
