Pixim Sees $5.2M More For Camera Sensors
Mountain View-based Pixim, a developer of digital video capture chipsets which use light-sensing technology to capture more of the information in photos, has raised $5.2M more in funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm Tuesday. According to the filing, investors in the round continue to include Tallwood Venture Capital, Mayfield, and Ridgewood Capital. Pixim's sensors help capture information which would normally be too dim or washed out, and is being applied to security cameras and similar applications.
