AMCC CEO Sets Departure Plans
Sunnyvale-based AMCC, a developer of mixed signal processors, said Thursday afternoon that its CEO and President, Kambiz Hooshmand, is planning to step down in June. According to the firm, Hooshmand will be replaced by Dr. Paramesh Gopi, the firm's current Chief Operating Officer. The firm did not say what Hooshmand plans to do after stepping down as CEO. Hooshmand has been CEO of AMCC since March of 2005.
