SunPower Sets Boynton As New CFO
San Jose-based solar panel developer SunPower said this week that it has named Charles (Chuck) D. Boynton as its new Chief Financial Officer. Boynton has been at SunPower since June of 2010, and also had previously served at SErviceSource INternational, Intelliden, Commerce One, Inc., Kraft Foods, Inc. and Grant Thornton, LLP. Boynton also sits on the board of turstees of the San Jose Technology Museum of Innovation. SunPower announced a major executive shakeup in November, which resulted in the departure of its exiting CFO, Dennis Arriola; Boynton had been named acting CFO earlier this month.
