Redwood Shores-based Oracle said this morning that it has acquired Massachusetts-based mValent, a developer of application configuration management software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Oracle, mValent will help to enhance the firm's Oracle Enterprise Manager software. mValent was venture backed by Polaris Venture Partners, Flybridge Capital Partners, and Charles River Ventures.
