SS8 Buys European Firm
Milipitas-based SS8 Networks, a provider of electronic surveillance hardware for the law enforcement market, said Tuesday that it has acquired OCI Mobile, a Dubai-based firm providing surveillance products to government organizations. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. SS8 said that the deal expands its operations in the EMEA. OCI Mobile's team will be based in Dubai. Both SS8 and OCI Mobile provide electric interception, wiretapping, and other similar surveillance services for governments and law enforcement.
