President Barack Obama said Friday that he is
appointing two Silicon Valley executives as part of an Economic Recovery Advisory Board, which will provide him with input on economic issues. The White House said that President Obama has added venture capitalist John Doerr of Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, and Charles E. Phillips, Jr., President of Oracle Corp., to the board, which will meet regularly to provide President Obama with advice on jump-starting economic growth.
