Stanford Professor Links With Seattle Venture Firm
Irving L. Weissman, M.D., an expert on stem cells, and Director of the Stanford Institute for Cancer/Stem Cell Biology and Medicine, has linked with a venture capital firm based in Seattle. According to OVP Venture Partners, Weissman joins the firm's technical advisory group.Dr. Weissman is a Professor of Cancer Biology, Pathology, and Developmental Biology at Stanford University. OVP has over $750M under management.
