HP Gains $50M Korean IT Leasing Contract
Technology giant The Hewlett-Packard Co. revealed Monday that it has won a contract from Korea's Shinhan Bank worth up to $50 million. According to HP, the deal will help the bank improve its return on investment while boosting its business efficiency and expanding its operations. HP noted that the key to the contract is the sale/lease back of Shinhan's information technology assets, which HP's Financial Services subsidiary will finance.
