Nordic Windpower Gets Convertible Round
Berkeley-based Nordic Windpower, a manufacturer of utility-scale wind turbines for the energy generation market, said Wednesday that the firm has scored a convertible round of funding. According to the firm, the funding is convertible into the firm's Series C round of Preferred Stock financing. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. The funding came from Goldman Sachs, Impax Asset Management, I2BF Venture Capital & Pulsar Energy Capital. Nordic windpower's wind turbines are being used for generating wind power for utilities.
