Nordic Windpower Catches $38M From Khosla
Berkeley-based Nordic Windpower said yesterday that it has raised $38M in a new funding round, led by Khosla Ventures. The firm said the Series C funding also included New Enterprise Associates, Novus Energy Partners, Impax Asset Management, I2BF Management, and Pulsar Energy Capital. The firm said the funding will allow it to "grow substantially." The firm said $12.1M of the funding has already been received. Nordic Windpower is a manufacturer of two-bladed wind turbines.
